Dibbana enters Gulbarga

Gulbarga: Samskruthi Dibbana, the culture fair organised by the State Government as part of the Suvarna Karnataka celebrations, entered Gulbarga district on Saturday.

The Dibbana was received at Chincholi town by writers and officials. The Dibbana consists of tableaux depicting the culture of the State, folk dances, Kolata and other performances.

The Dibbana entered Gulbarga from Humnabad taluk in Bidar. Kannada and Culture assistant director Rajendra Yernale, Information Department deputy director Basavaraj Para and others performed puja and welcomed the Dibbana procession in Chincholi.

Dr. Yernale said the Dibbana would move from Chincholi to Sedam on Sunday, Yadgiri on Monday, Shahapur and Surpur on Tuesday, Jeevargi on Wednesday, Chittapur on Thursday, Gulbarga on Friday and Saturday and Aland and Afzalpur on Sunday.

Various organisations will organise cultural performances during this period.

It will also accompany music, dance, drama a nd other programmes.
