Puducherry: A delegation of the JIPMER Anti Conversion Committee headed by its convenor T. Murugan will call on President, the Prime Minister, the All India Congress Committe leader, Sonia Gandhi and top leaders in New Delhi next week to persuade them to drop the Centre's decision to convert JIPMER into an autonomous body. Addressing newsmen here on Saturday, Mr. Murugan said that a detailed memorandum would be submitted to the Union Cabinet and Ms. Sonia Gandhi bringing to their notice the serious implication of autonomy for the institute.
