AIADMK for classical tag to Kannada

BANGALORE: The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) Karnataka unit members and the party MLA from Mylapore in Chennai and film actor S.Ve. Sekher, said on Saturday said that the party supremo Jayalalithaa had extended full support to the State Government's demand for according classical status to Kannada. Mr. Shekher and the AIADMK State unit secretary K.R. Krishna Raju said Ms. Jayalalithaa had demanded classical status to all languages in the VIII Schedule.
