An artistic journey into `the known unknown'
Bindu Shajan Perappadan
NEW DELHI:
Commenting on issues that confound contemporary society, artist Neeraj Bakshi will display his works at an art exhibition titled "The Known Unknown'' to be held at Arpana Fine Arts Gallery here from October 16 to 24. Neeraj Bakshi observes: "An artist's work is considered to be his or her view on life. In my work I have tried to incorporate the element of myth that is a thousand years old in Kashmir and precipitates into the normal day-to-day life. There are lots of apparently unrelated objects that get together usually on the surface of paper and my work is an attempt to put together the world/paradise we have lost.''
