New insurance schemes launched

JAIPUR: The Rajasthan State Insurance and General Provident Fund Department has released two new insurance schemes, Nachiketa and Upmanyu, for students of private educational institutions.

The St. Xavier's School of Jaipur was the first to get the policy over the week-end.

Additional Director, General Insurance, J.P. Meena, handing over the insurance documents to the school's principal, Jose Jacob, said the Nachiketa policy would cover risk upto Rs. 50,000 for each student.

Rs. 20,000 for each student are insured under the Upmanyu scheme.
