CHENNAI: National squash champion Joshna Chinappa failed to convert a 2-0 lead to lose in five games to second seed Aisling Blake of Ireland in the semifinals of the Subway Goshen Open, a WISPA event at Indiana on Saturday. Aisling changed her tactics when the third seed Joshna led by two games. Aisling began to reach for her rival's returns. Joshna slipped as Aisling raised her game. The match went for 65 minutes before the Irish girl emerged 4-9, 2-9, 9-7, 9-2, 9-2 winner. In the final, Aisling will meet the top seeded seeded Alain Miller of Canada, who defeated Mami Nishio of Japan 9-7, 9-2, 8-10, 10-9.
