MYSORE: Students from Mysore have excelled in the inter-school skating competition that was held in Chennai. The competition was organised by the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Velammal International School. Two students from the JSS Public School have qualified for the national-level contest. Yashas Shankar of fourth standard won one gold medal in a rink-II event and K.S. Sriraksha of fourth standard won two gold medals and one silver medal in rink-II, road-I and rink-I events. The two students have been selected to represent their school for the national-level competition to be held in Chandigarh .
More medals
Students of Amrita Vidyalayam here bagged one gold and two silver medals in the cluster level competition. M. Harshita won a gold medal and silver medal and N. Shivaraj won a silver medal .
