Good show by Armaan
Chennai: Armaan Ebrahim finished a creditable fourth in the Graduate Cup and 15th overall after Sunday's final race of the Silverstone National circuit. He passed 16 cars in the 22-lap Graduate Cup. Armaan's 55.96 seconds was the second fastest lap time in this class.
Having missed the second qualifying run due to a mechanical failure, he began on the last grid in the 31st place.
Renault team boss Ian Barnwell said: "Rarely does one see a driver passing 16 cars in a Formula Renault race since all the cars on the grid are within a second of each other."
Armaan thanked JK Tyre, Speed, Amaron and Elf for supporting him during the season. He will now compete in the Formula Renault winter championship. Special Correspondent
