Special Correspondent

Guwahati: One suspected militant of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) was killed when an improvised explosive device, which he was trying to plant on a railway track, exploded near the Bongaigaon railway station on Monday night. The blast occurred at 6:35 p.m. in which the suspected ULFA militant was killed on the spot, police said.

The outfit triggered another blast at the Broad Gauge yard at Noonmati here.
