NEW DELHI: Municipal Commissioner A. K. Nigam on Monday suspended former Veterinary Officer (Headquarters) S. K. Yadav for grave misconduct. Dr. Yadav, who was recently transferred for his role in the alleged bungling in the allotment of plots in the upcoming Ghogha dairy project, tried to forcibly occupy the office of Veterinary Officer (Headquarters) without any order from the Municipal Commissioner. Dr. Yadav reached Town Hall in the morning and occupied the office of Veterinary Officer (Headquarters). He did not allow the serving Veterinary Officer (Headquarters) V. K. Singh to function and said he had got his transfer stayed from the court. Immediately, head of Veterinary Department R.B.S. Tyagi was informed and he complained to Mr. Nigam who immediately suspended Dr. Yadav for gross misconduct.
