Reliance launches plans with add-ons

Coimbatore: Reliance Communications has launched `Pwr4uth' with one, two or three-year validity to subscribers without monthly recharge. In addition, there were four add-on options to help subscribers customize their mobile spends based on their usage requirements.

V.G. Somasekhar, Hub-Head, Tamil Nadu and Kerala said that there would be four add-on top-up options in `Pwr4uth', including an SMS pack at Rs. 30, providing for unlimited SMS to any mobile within Tamil Nadu.

Micro-recharges starting at Rs. 10 provided full talk-time. This "sachet-like" over-the-air recharging mechanism enabled subscribers wanting to make outgoing calls, to top up their accounts with amounts as low as Rs. 10, as and when required, as many times as required.

This system of micro payment also saved on large administration fee associated with monthly recharge by full-talk time value on top-up value. Mobile calling pack at Rs. 33 facilitated calling any mobile across Tamil Nadu at just 49 paise a minute.

Reliance calling pack at Rs. 99 provided ten hours a day of unlimited talk time during night hours (10 p.m. to 8 a.m.) and a charge of just 15 paise during daytime to all Reliance mobiles within Tamil Nadu.

`Pwr4uth' was now bundled with a wide range of handset options starting at Rs. 1,399 with one-year validity and models priced at Rs. 1,799 came with two-year validity.

Handsets were bundled with 2,000 minutes of talk time.
