KOLLAM: The ninth edition of the Campus Journal brought out by the final BA English Literature students of Fatima Mata National College was released by D. Babu Paul, former Additional Chief Secretary, at a function on the campus on Tuesday. The 76-page is titled "FMNC Vision." The editorial board comprises Jayakrishnan R., chief editor, and Shruthi R. and Rakesh R., associate editors. There are eight sub-editors and they are assisted by S. Parvathy and Jisha John as the staff editors. There are also students in charge of circulation, layout and design of the journal. The journal begins with photographs of great men and women who had made valuable contributions to English literature. The contents include an interview with Anita Nair, writer; a homage to writer Raja Rao; an English translation of the National Anthem, a survey on campus views and choices, paintings of Raja Ravi Varma and a film review. Kadamanitta Ramakrishhan, poet, was present. College principal Soosamma Kavumpurath presided. Prem Kumar Elias, head of the Department of English, said the aim of the journal is to boost literary talents of students.
