JD(S) to hold conventions

DHARWAD: In an attempt to strengthen its presence in the district, Janata Dal (Secular) is organising conventions of party workers in all the five taluks of Dharwad.

Gururaj Hunasimarad, State unit president of Janata Dal (Secular) youth wing, told presspersons here on Tuesday that the first convention of party workers in the district would be held at Kalghatgi on November 2. A seven-member committee would listen to the the grievances of party members.
