KOCHI: After teaching children a few basketball tricks at the Rajagiri and Choice Schools and at the Regional Sports Centre here, Harlem Globetrotters' ambassador Sterling Forbes promised them many more new ones when the team lands in Kochi for its two-day tour on November 21. "The Trotters have evolved over the years, we try to introduce some new tricks each time," said Forbes, who was here on Tuesday to prepare the city for the World-famous basketball team's forthcoming tour. "This is a country of beautiful people. You have welcomed me with open arms. I understand cricket is very popular here, but the Trotters tour will be once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all of you. The Trotters have brought joy to many all over the world, it is family entertainment," said the star. "We hope this tour lifts basketball in the country in a big way," said R. Anilkumar, the country head of SportzIndia, which has arranged the tour. The Kochi leg, which includes matches on November 21 and 22, is supported by the Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
