Isolated heavy rain likely in T.N. CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from remaining parts of Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala and thus from the entire region.

Forecast (valid until Thursday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, coastal Karnataka and Kerala and at a few places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over north coastal Andhra Pradesh. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall Warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.
