It will discuss organic and non-organic farming, water conservation and environmental protection

BIJAPUR: An international workshop covering different aspects of the agricultural sector and rural society will be held in Bijapur under the aegis of the Bharatiya Small and Village Industries Association from November 1 to 8.

In a statement here on Tuesday, H.G. Kumbar, president of the association, said the event was sponsored by Asian International Network, an amalgamation of Japan-based NGOs. The theme of the workshop is formation of agriculture community without disparity for a better rural society. It will discuss organic and non-organic farming, water conservation and environmental protection.
