Managemantra fair from October 27

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: The sixth annual Managemantra fair will be held by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Southern Region, and Cerebrus Consultants from the 27-28 October at the Tidel Park Auditorium.

Managemantra is meant for students from second tier colleges who do not necessarily have the same opportunities and exposure as those from larger schools like those within the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) family.

The management fair will include both individual and team activities to allow students to highlight their strengths before the companies present. The fair will also include informative panels conducted by CEOs and other professionals.

According to Sabitha Rao, chairman of the event and director of Cerebrus Consultants, 70 institutions and 25 companies are expected to attend. Most will get at least one job offer by the end of the fair, Mr. Rao said. Students participating will have to pay a fee of Rs.1000.
