Body found

Thiruvananthapuram: The body of an unidentified person was found at Karichal in the Attingal police station limits on Tuesday. A case of unnatural death has been registered.

Four held

Thiruvananthapuram: The Cantonment police have arrested four youth in connection with the attack on Sanskrit college students on Monday. The police identified them as Shammer (19), Azharudin (19) and Vimal (19). An official said they were students of the University College. One youth, identified as Baiju, was seriously injured in the attack. The arrested persons were produced before the court and remanded to 14 days in judicial custody.

Three injured

Thiruvananthapuram: Three persons were injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a KSRTC bus at Eliavoor near Vellanad on Tuesday evening. The injured, Prakash (25), Lali (30) and Praveen (32), have been admitted to the Medical College hospital. — Staff Reporter

Rehabilitation programme

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Law Minister M. Vijayakumar on Sunday inaugurated Sradhdha Bhavanam, a programme being initiated by Abhaya to provide rehabilitation and short stay facilities to mentally ill persons. District judge D. Pappachan presided.
