For a connoisseur of arts
DANCER PADMAJA Suresh will be performing before President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapathi Bhavan in Delhi on October 27. President Kalam is not only a fan of the fine arts but also plays the veena with some distinction.
Padmaja will be accompanied by her dance students and also a group of schoolgirls from the Seshadripuram Government School, whom she has been training. Their journey is being sponsored by HAL as a corporate initiative. The dancers will present items based on Subramanya Bharathiar's patriotic songs, which will be in the President's mother tongue. The students will present "Balakrishna Kreeda."
