According to Superintendent of Police M. Jaganmohan Reddy, Rajababu allegedly took away Ganta Rohin Amarshan (4), an LKG student, from his convent with the help of his associates - K. Pallam Raju and Nimmala Lakshman - of Vijayawada and detained him in a house in Vijayawada. Later, the prime accused was alleged to have demanded Rs. 40 lakhs from the boy's father Sumanta Kumar over phone for his safe release. - Staff Reporter
