The M.P. Birla Institute of Fundamental Research has arranged a three-week course in Astrobiology from November 7 to 24. The course is open to all, particularly for students with a background of Biology or Biotechnology at the level of B.Sc. or equivalent. Others, with an interest in life forms and biological aspects, will be considered for admission. The number of seats is limited to 30. Admissions will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Classes will begin on November 7 and thereafter will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. For details, contact M.P. The course will focus on Clinical Trial Process; Clinical Trial Design; Ethics and Good Clinical Practice; Clinical Data Management; Quality Systems, SOPs and Audits; Regulatory Affairs and Compliance; Safety Management and Pharmacovigilance; Statistical Analysis and Reporting; Database Design and Data Models; Data Management Systems and Tools; Documentation and Document Management System; Medical Coding and Dictionaries; Project Management; and Security Systems.
