3 feared killed in building collapse

AHMEDABAD: At least three persons are feared killed and about 40 others injured in a building collapse at the Air Force base in Jamnagar in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat this afternoon.

The police said the two-storeyed building was under construction for use as a storehouse for the Air Force and it collapsed while the roof was being laid. Nearly 40 labourers were working on the roof and about 500 others at different parts of the building when the slabs on the roof collapsed.
