Virendra Prabhakar honoured

NEW DELHI: Veteran photo-journalist Virendra Prabhakar has been honoured with "Acharya Mahapragya Ahimsa Prakshikshan Samman-2006".

He received the award in the presence of Acharya Mahapragya, Yuvacharya Mahashraman and Sadhvi Pramukha Kanak Prabha at Bhiwani in Haryana.

The Samman comprises Rs.1 lakh in cash, a memento and a citation.
