HYDERABAD: The city police on Thursday said main roads at Charminar, Madina, Murgi Chowk and Moghalpura Kaman would be closed for vehicular traffic on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in connection with Jummat-ul-Vida. Traffic would also be diverted in the following areas. Traffic from Nayapul towards Charminar will be diverted at Madina towards City College. Vehicles from Nagulchinta and Shahlibanda will be diverted at Himmathpura junction. Traffic from Kotla Alijah will be diverted towards Bibi Bazaar. Vehicles coming from Petlaburj and Moosabowli would be diverted at Motigalli. Motorists coming Etebar Chowk would not be allowed towards Kali Kaman. Traffic should proceed towards Mandi Miralam Market or Bibi Bazaar. Traffic from Mitti-ka-Sher would not be allowed towards Gulzar Houz. Vehicles should proceed towards Ghansi Bazaar. Traffic from Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal would be diverted at Old Police Commissioner's Office at Purna Haveli. Vehicles from Quilwath towards Panchmohalla would be diverted at Quilwath. Restrictions would also apply for RTC buses too. Buses going towards Charminar would be stopped at Afzalgunj. Buses coming from districts would proceed via Nalgonda crossroads, Chanchalguda Rotary, I. S. Sadan and MBNR crossroads till the completion of prayers.
