EFI to acquire Jetrion LLC

CHENNAI : EFI, a printing technology and print management solutions provider, has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire the privately held Jetrion LLC, a subsidiary of Flint Group, for $40 million in cash. Jetrion was an innovator of inkjet printers, inks and custom printing systems for the label and packaging industries, a press release said. EFI was expecting the transaction to close in the fourth quarter of 2006, subject to certain closing conditions, the release said.
