Community hall foundation laid

NEW DELHI: Union Minister of State for Urban Development Ajay Maken on Friday laid the foundation stone for a community hall and library to be constructed by the Delhi Development Authority at Kalkaji in South Delhi.

The community hall and library, to be part of the Kalkaji (Alaknanda) community centre, will be constructed on a plot area of 2,000 square metres. The built-up area on the ground floor will be 562.52 square metres and on the first floor 293.77 square metres. The ground floor will have a spacious hall with a kitchen and two rooms. The first floor will consist of three rooms with attached toilets.
