A lifetime experience for them

KOZHIKODE: Twenty-four students, 18 boys and six girls, representing the National Service Scheme of Calicut University attended a five-day national integration-cum- youth festival organised by the Patnitop Development Authority and the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation for students of universities at Patnitop from October 11 to 15. The team from the university reached Patnitop on October 11. At 10 a.m., the team proceeded to Kud as the competitions were arranged at a higher secondary school there.

Sreenath of Kozhikode Medical College and Aswathi R. Kartha of Carmal College participated in a debate on national integration. Niga and party of Carmal Collegegave a dance recital.

On the third day, the team walked to Nag Devatha Temple two km from Patnitop. Next day, Gujral, Inspector General of Police of the area, addressed the students. There were cultural performances by students.
