MALLORCA: Notwithstanding his error-riddled five-over 75 in the second round, Jeev Milkha Singh managed to get into the next rounds of the Mallorca Classic tournament at the Pula Golf Resort here on Saturday. Jeev is now at tied 43rd position in the tournament, which is the last full field event on the European Tour. He had bogeys on second, ninth, 12th, 13th and 14th and 17th. His only birdie was on the 15th. The joint leaders were Niclas Fasth (71) of Sweden and Ireland's Gary Murphy (71), who were three-under on 137. After having a second round of three-under 69, Arjun Atwal managed to hang in there as he made the cut at the Funai Walt Disney Classic in Miami. At five-under for two days, he is now tied 62nd, up from his first round finish of 70th place. But, he still has a chance to improve his position in the remaining two rounds. However, Daniel Chopra missed the cut. While Atwal had five birdies and two bogeys in his 69, Chopra shot three birdies and bogeys to crash out. PTI
