DHARWAD: "It is our primary duty to remember the sacrifice of police personnel who lost their lives while maintaining law and order in society," Deputy Commissioner M.S. Srikar has said. He was speaking after paying floral tributes to martyrs at the Police Commemoration Day organised by the Dharwad district police here on Saturday. Superintendent of Police B. Srikantappa read out the list of police personnel who lost their lives while on duty. In Hubli, the day was observed on the CAR Grounds. Vice-Chancellor of UAS, Dharwad, J.H. Kulkarni and Ashok Shettar, Principal of BVB College of Engineering and Technology joined Police Commissioner Narayan Nadamani in paying tributes.
