Minister opens study programme

Staff Reporter

`Students should be research minded'

KOLLAM: Minister for Water Resources N.K. Premachandran said students could reach their goals only if they have a clear idea of what they study. Inaugurating a study guidance programme organised by the Quilon Athletic Club (QAC) for high school and higher secondary school students here on Sunday, he called upon the students to engage in studies with a research mind.

The Minister said those who were able to manage time judiciously would be able to achieve the impossible. The minister told the students that ambitions should not be based on `traditional aspirations.' District Collector B. Srinivas delivered the keynote address.
