NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations and Indira Gandhi National Open University have agreed to reinforce the efforts of each other to fulfil the needs of the public health specialities in the country As a part of agreement, IGNOU students, with Post Graduate Diploma in Maternal and Child Health (PGDMCH), Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHHM), and Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine (PGDGM) and having two years of experience as medical officer in hospital, primary health centre, community health centre, district health officer or equivalent positions in ESI Corporation, Municipal Health Department or other organisations will be exempted from the CET Test Such students will also be allowed to appear for the DNB final examination of Board in Family Medicine (new rules) for PGDMCH and PGDGM diploma holders, DNB (MCH new rules) of PGDMCH and DNB (Health Administration including Hospital Administration new rules) for PGDHHM diploma holders with MBBS degree.
