Course for pharma graduates

HYDERABAD: Hi-tech Institute of Advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences in association with NATCO Pharma Ltd. is conducting an industry-oriented nine-week course for pharmacy graduates from October 27. The course will be followed by intensive practical training in a pharma industry or approved drug-testing laboratory.

Eminent persons from the industry, including M. Venkateshwarlu, Drugs Control-General of India, will deliver lectures on subjects related to drug industry and regulatory affairs. M. Venkata Reddy, former Director, Drug Control Administration of Andhra Pradesh and course director said the idea was to bridge the gap between academic and industrial environments for fresh graduates. Focus of lectures will be on US FDA regulations, international laws, clinical studies, design of pharma industry and drug testing laboratory.
