Interview: The GATE score interview for the M.Sc. opto-electronics and optical communication course will be held at 1.30 p.m. on October 27 at the Department of Opto-electronics.

M.Tech. admission: The admission to the M.Tech. opto-electronics and optical instrumentation course for those without a GATE score will be held at 9.30 a.m. on October 31 at the department. Those who have not received any intimation should contact 0471-2412167.

B.Tech. results: The results of the combined S1-S2 B.Tech. examinations held in May-June have been published. Applications for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted till November 7. Applications must be submitted in the revised format. The mark list taken from the web site should also be sent along with the application. The results can be had from the university website.

Adventure sports: The Bangalore office of the University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited suggestions from universities and from affiliated colleges for conducting adventure sports. Further details can be had from the office of the College Development Director. The last date for submitting the applications is November 15 (Phone: 0471 2304045).

LLB examinations postponed: The second semester LLB (three year) examinations and the sixth semester LLB (five year) examinations scheduled to begin on November 6 have been postponed to November 13. The fourth semester (three year) examinations and the eighth year LLB (five year) examinations scheduled to begin on November 20 have been postponed to November 23.
