Cellphones recovered

Bangalore: Balaji (19) was arrested by the Jayanagar sub-division, Crime Detection Squad.

The police recovered 10 mobile phones worth Rs. 25,000 from the accused.

`Hundi' looted

Miscreants on Saturday looted the Attalikkamma Temple in Prakashnagar under Rajajinagar police station limits.

The police said the miscreants took away the cash from the "hundi" and jewellery that was on the idol. Miscreants also broke open an almirah and took away silver ornaments that were in it, the police said.

Fingerprint experts and dog squads were pressed into service.

A case has been registered.
