CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at many places over Kerala and at a few places over Tamil Nadu. Isolated rainfall occurred over Rayalaseema. Mainly dry weather prevailed over coastal Andhra Pradesh and dry weather over Telangana, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.

Forecast (valid until Wednesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala and at a few places over Lakshadweep and south interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall Warning: Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain is also likely to occur over interior Tamil Nadu and Kerala during the same period.
