Shekhawat turns 84

NEW DELHI: Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat turned 84 on Monday.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and United Progressive Alliance Chairperson Sonia Gandhi called up Mr. Shekhawat in Jaipur and conveyed their greetings and good wishes to him. A large number of dignitaries and others gathered at the Vice-President's home and wished him many more years to serve the nation.
