COIMBATORE: The Tirupur-based Royal Classic Group plans to offer almost the entire range of men's wear products under its Classic Polo and Smash brands at all its exclusive outlets. This includes accessories and winter wear. According to its Executive Director, R. Sivaram, the Rs. 225-crore group, which had about half a dozen exclusive outlets last November, now has 27 outlets (called Relax Junction) and hopes to close the fiscal with 60. The stores will have men's accessories (belts, wallets, socks and caps), winter wear, sports wear and denim products apart from T-shirts, shirts and trousers. "Barring the seasonal products and accessories, we want to have in-house production of all other products." The group already has a ginning unit, a 25,000-spindle mill, a processing unit and a knitting unit. The group's trouser plant, coming up near Palani, will become operational by the end of next month. Its initial capacity will be 800 pieces a day. The group will start a denim stitching unit too in another six months. The group will make a total capital investment of Rs. 40 crore this year.
