Syntel's Q3 net up 24 per cent

CHENNAI: Syntel, a global information technology services firm, has registered a net profit of Rs. 65.20 crore and revenue of Rs. 311.40 crore during the third quarter ended October 18, 2006. The net profit is up 23.8 per cent compared to the last year and 31.5 per cent sequentially against Q2 of 2006. The company is making significant investments in its SEZ facilities in Pune and Chennai, where it will create around 1.1 million sq. ft. in each location over three years, says a press release.
