Patna: A day after his resignation as national spokesman of Lalu Prasad's RJD, Shivanand Tiwari on Tuesday met his bete noir Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at an `Id Milan' organised by a JD (U) Rajya Sabha member, triggering speculation about his joining the State's ruling party. The two leaders exuded warmth and embraced each other at the function at the residence of Mohd Ali Anwar. Mr. Tiwari had quit the post of national spokesman of RJD on Monday after writing a series of ``open letters'' to Lalu Prasad, blaming him for the party's defeat in the last Assembly polls and practising ``nepotism''. In the last letter on Monday, he suggested to Mr. Prasad to replace his wife Rabri Devi with a Muslim MLA as leader of the RJD legislature party and ``get rid of the influence'' of his brothers-in-law Sadhu Yadav and Subhash Yadav, both MPs.
