Four teenagers drown in sea

CHENNAI : Four teenaged boys, who went to bathe in the Marina, drowned on Sunday. The bodies were recovered in Foreshore Estate and Besant Nagar.

According to the police, M. Moorthy (18) and his brother M. Rajesh (15), and their two friends, M.Ezhumalai (15) and K.Vinoth (15), all residents of Ganesapuram, Mylapore, went to bathe on Sunday evening.

As they did not return home late at night, their parents lodged a complaint with the police. However, the bodies were washed ashore on Monday morning.

The bodies were sent to the Government Royapettah hospital for post-mortem.
