Puducherry: Secretary of the Federation For People's Rights K. Sugumaran has urged the Government to initiate action against the Secretary to Department of Art and Culture B.V. Selvaraj who had "distorted" a poem of Rabindranath Tagore in a recent department publication. In a release here on Monday he said that the famous poem of Gitanjali written by Tagore was "twisted and distorted" in the publication and this act was an insult to the Nobel laureate.
