PANAJI: The Goa Government on Tuesday floated international bids for consultancy services for techno-economic feasibility studies for the proposed construction of a six-lane north-south expressway in the State. The State Public Works Department, the implementing agency, on Tuesday invited proposals for the consultancy services of the proposed expressway covering a stretch of at least 80 km, sources in the PWD said. The six-lane expressway will be from Patradevi in Pernem taluk in north to Pollem in Canacona taluk of south. The project is conceptualised to be executed as a BoT project on a public private partnership (PPP) model and DBFO( design, build, finance and operate) format.
