Ramzan celebrated with fervour in Tirupati

TIRUPATI : Id-Ul-Fitr- Ramzan was celebrated in the temple city of Tirupati with devotional fervour signalling the culmination of the festival of fasting.

Muslims clad in their traditional attire with their skull-caps on, congregated at the Eidgah grounds and in local mosques and offered holy namaz as a mark of thanksgiving to the Almighty.

A number of young Muslim boys also were seen converging at the prayer grounds along with their wards and offering namaz.

Muslim bretheren later, greeted each other and offered alms to the poor and needy in keeping with the ordained custom.

Muslim households and areas wore a festive look.
