ANANTAPUR: The Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court on Tuesday posted the next hearing in Tagarakunta Prabhakar murder case to November 7. Remand of the accused in the case was also extended till the next hearing. Conspiracy accused in the case G. Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri was produced in the court but other accused lodged in Charlapalli and Chanchalguda prisons in Hyderabad could not be produced before Judge Moses through video linkage due to some technical snag. Boya Prabhakar, a close associate of Paritala Ravindra and the then mandal parishad president (MPP) of Kanaganapalli, was allegedly shot dead by Julakanti Srinivasa Reddy alias Moddu Sreenu and others on September 5, 2004 on the court road here. Of the total 10 accused in the case, Moddu Sreenu, Damodar Reddy, Obi Reddy, V. Konda and V. Seena were lodged in Hyderabad jails. Another three, Bhaskar Reddy, Sivalinga and Venkataramana were already released on bail and one more suspect was still eluding the police. The police has already filed chargesheet in the case and it is likely to be commuted to the higher court soon.
