Jangra, Dipika get top billing

KOLKATA: Sandeep Jangra of Maharashtra and Dipika Pallikal of Tamil Nadu have been given the top seedings in the under-19 boys and girls singles of the junior National squash championship beginning at the Calcutta Racket Club here on Wednesday.

The junior National will be played from Wednesday to Saturday and the inter-State championship from October 29 to November 1.

The seedings: Boys: Under-19: 1. Sandeep Jangra (Mah), 2. Harinderpal Singh Sandhu (TN). U-17: 1. Vikram Malhotra (Mah), 2. Lakman Joshi (Mah). U-15: 1. Ramit Tandon (TN), 2. Ravi Dixit (TN). U-13: 1. Mahesh Mangaonkar (Mah), 2. Karan Tharimal (Raj). U-11: 1. Kush Kumar (Del), 2. Raghav Mehrotra (Mah).

Girls: U-19: 1. Dipika Pallikal (TN), 2. Anwesha Reddy (TN). U-17: 1. Surbhi Misra (Raj), 2. Shivangi Paranjpe (Mah). U-15: 1. Harita Om Prakash (TN), 2. Dheeya Somaya (MP). U-13: 1.
