TRS leader hits out at KCR

Staff Reporter

He is acting as a feudal lord, says S. Bhaskar Reddy

  • `Came out of UPA to cash in on the Telangana sentiment'
  • TRS chief flayed for not nominating party office-bearers

KARIMNAGAR: S Bhaskar Reddy, the TRS rebel leader, who joined the Congress recently in the presence of Chief Minister Y. S. Rajashekhara Reddy, launched a scathing attack against the TRS president, K Chandrashekhar Rao, for neglecting the party rank and file and acting as a feudal lord.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he clarified that he had joined the Congress because of the neglect of TRS party cadre by the party president, K Chandrashekhar Rao.

He refuted the TRS leaders' charges that the Congress had made a `galli' leader into a hero for its own political mileage. He alleged that KCR had come out of the UPA Government only to boost the sagging morale of the party and cash in on the sentiment.

He demanded the TRS president to field the district president, C Satyanarayana Reddy, as the candidate for the byelection to the Karimnagar Parliament constituency. He flayed the TRS president for not constituting the party office-bearers in all the districts of Telangana.
