NALGONDA: Ramzan is being celebrated at many places in the State on Wednesday, but religious heads, who met here late on Monday night, decided to celebrate the festival on Tuesday. Even before dawn, hundreds of Muslims came on to the roads in their best attire and were seen hugging each other and exchanging greetings. The mosques and Idgah on Munugodu road witnessed large gathering of people who thronged the places to offer special prayers on the occasion. Leaders from various political leaders joined the Muslims in their prayers and later exchanged greetings with them. District Collector K Vijayanand and other officials greeted people on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
