CHENNAI: Here's an opportunity for consumers to get their favourite branded products under one roof and, if lucky, even get discounts.

A a consumer products finance fair to offer loans for durables is to take place all over Tamil Nadu between October 26 and 31.

With loads of games and entertainment events, the `Joy of Life' fair, organised by the Shriram Group, hopes to provide many financial services in a joyful ambience.

In Chennai, this carnival is being held at 6 different venues viz, Sarojini Mahal, Valasaravakkam (October 26th - 29); Arundhathi Mahal, Perambur, (Oct 26 - 29); Surana Thangam Mahal, West Tambaram, (October 27 - 29); Subarathan Marriage Hall, Velachery, (October 28 - 30); Master Maligai, Triplicane, (Oct. 28 - 31) and Mohana Velayutham Mahal, Villivakkam, (Oct. 26 - 30).

19 centres in State

The carnival will also be held at 19 centres throughout the State.

Besides the Shriram group of companies including its chits, finance and life insurance wings, companies offering services such as consumer product loans, personal loans, life insurance and general insurance will also take part.

Also featured at the carnival will be electronic products, two wheelers, furniture, computers, and home life products. Exchange offers for products is also available. Customers can come with identification proof, address proof, passport size photograph and a cheque book to avail immediate loans.

"Wide variety"

According to Shriram Group director R. Kannan, consumers will get the opportunity to avail of a wide variety of financial services at one place, besides information on health or even educational pursuits.
