Jeeyar to visit city

CHENNAI: The 12th `satabisheka tirunakshatram' of Srimad Azhagiya Singar would be celebrated at Sri Vedanta Desikar Temple, Mylapore from November 1 to November 3. The Jeeyar will camp at Triplicane from October 29 to November 1 and will arrive at Mylapore on the same day.

A procession in ivory palanquin would pass through `mada' streets of Mylapore after which he would leave for Srirangam. A marriage hall was one of the buildings to be constructed at Srirangam as part of the celebrations.
