Lecture

Computer Society of India will organise a meeting on "Latest Trends - Security Technologies," on Oct. 25 at the Computer Society of India at 6.30 p.m. S.Sankara Narayanan, Head, Information Security Practices, 3D Networks, Chennai, will deliver the lecture.

Exhibition

The Kikani Institutions will organise a mega exhibition `Jai Kisan,' on October 26 and 27. Dr. Usha Mehta, Scientist, Sugarcane Breeding Institute will inaugurate the function. ER.Madhuramakrishnan and ER C.N.Shanmugham, Scientists, ISRO, Bangalore, will felicitate the participants.

15 injured

More than 15 persons sustained minor injuries when a mini bus plunged into a gorge along the Kurichi tank late on Tuesday night. Police and Fire and Rescue Services personnel removed the injured to two private hospitals at Sundarapuram.
